Snowed In

Well, not SNOWED in...but up to 6 inches today. Yuck. I guess. I mean, I do not like snow, and it's no secret to those who know me. But there's something enormously peaceful about today's snow fall.

My legs and rear end, on the other hand? Not so peaceful. Ouch. Very sore. it's going to be a rough strength workout today, but I can DO IT! Gonna push play when I put the kiddies down for their nap before I have to go to work.

So. Over the summer when I (almost) finished p90x I went from 168 pounds to 155 in 8 weeks...and gained about 6 pounds of musicle, so the weight loss was closer to 20 total pounds. When I stepped on the scale Sunday morning I weighed 164.5 pounds. Sigh. Lost most of the muscle I gained over the summer in addition to putting on almost all the weight again. Ridiculous. I should be in the Guiness Book of Records for weight yoyo-ing.

The good news? That was Saturday. This morning I stepped on the scale and was down to 160.8. Yep. Almost four pounds in just as many days.

I attribute this largely to no soda, no salt, and very careful calorie control. I'm on track to be 150 flat by the end of January. Yippee Skippy!

My goal, by the way? 125. Or a size four. Whatever comes first. From there, maintaining and staying healthy.
